The Nuggets are using a lifeline inadvertently handed to them by Sacramento as a second chance to make a lasting impression to land free agent Andre Iguodala.

The Nuggets and Iguodala continue to talk about a long-term deal to bring the swingman back next season, with the Kings in the background after they rescinded a $56 million offer just hours after they offered it to Iguodala, their top free-agent target.
