A 16-year-old boy was arrested Thursday night in connection to Monday's shooting death of 26-year-old William Walsh.

Colorado Springs spokeswoman Barbara Miller said Friday morning the boy was taken into custody at about 9 p.m. on Thursday on suspicion of first-degree murder. He is the second person arrested in the case.

Otto Joseph Pobanz, 26, had been arrested earlier Thursday in connection to Walsh's death. Walsh's body was found Monday afternoon behind a Walgreens near the intersection of South Chelton Road and South Academy Boulevard, police said. Walsh went missing early Monday morning and was last seen at his mother's apartment on East Bijou Street, about a mile from where his body was recovered.

The El Paso County Coroner's Office ruled Walsh's death a homicide. It marks the 16th homicide in the city in 2013.

Pobanz is being held in the El Paso County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder. No more information could be released about he 16-year-old because he is a minor, Miller said.
