The Gazette Updated: May 31, 2013 at 2:29 pm

Summer is a time for fun, but it's also a great time for kids to hit the books.

The Chapel Hills Mall is hosting a Summer Current Events game aimed at getting kids reading at the mall.

The game is open to kids from 9-years-old to 14-years-old. There are weekly drawings for gift cards. At the end of summer, five grand prizes winners will be selected to receive e-readers.

It starts on Monday and lasts through the summer. For more details and how to play, click here.

The Chapel Hills Mall, the Pikes Peak Library District and The Gazette are sponsoring the activities.
