A high-altitude boat ride is one of numerous fun activities in "Colorado's Playground." At the largest lake in the region, you can find boat rentals, sailing instruction and racing regattas, as well as nearby camping sites. With a lake full of trout, fishing is at its best. There are also paved paths, where you can drink in the views. denverwater.org/recreation/dillon
