UPDATE: State patrol ID's pedestrian killed in crash

Colorado State Patrol has identified the man who was killed Friday evening after he apparently stepped in front of a car on Bradley Road.

Tony Brito,59, of Colorado Springs was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.

Brito was killed when he stepped in front of a car that was westbound on Bradley Road near Cantrell Drive, the Colorado State Patrol said.

He was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries, troopers said.

The driver of the car, 19-year-old Tatyana Christmas of Colorado Springs, was not injured, troopers said.

Troopers said speed was not a factor in the 6:30 p.m. crash, which remains under investigation.
