The convenience store at 7055 Alegre Drive in Fountain seems to be a convenient place to rob.

The Loaf 'N Jug was hit for the third time in just over a month Sunday night when a man wearing ski cap with decorative snowflakes and a big pom pom walked up to the register with his hand in his jacket pocket and demanded money, Fountain Police said in a press release.

The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police cordoned off the area and searched with dogs and officers on foot, but as happened before, came up empty handed.

The Loaf 'N Jug, which is near an I-25 on-ramp, was also robbed the night of Nov. 29 by a man brandishing a pistol. Another robber took cash from the store Dec. 6.

Physical descriptions do not suggest one repeat robber.

Fountain police could not be reached for comment.
