Police: Kmart shoplifter pulls gun, ends up in jail

Colorado Springs police say a man who was nabbed for shoplifting at a Kmart store, then pulled a gun on the loss prevention officer, ended up in jail on suspicion of aggravated robbery.

Colorado Springs police received a call from the Kmart at 3020 N. Nevada Ave. at 10:49 a.m. Sunday.

Police say Kyle Hirschfield, 25, faced off the loss prevention officer, pulled the gun and then ran away.

He was caught by police nearby and arrested.
