Colorado Springs police investigators are looking for a man who allegedly robbed two convenience stores on December 22.
The man walked into the 7-Eleven store at 525 N Union Blvd. at 3:20 a.m. and tried to grab cash from the open cash register, police said. There was a struggle and the suspect fled after taking some items.
Forty minutes later the same man forced his way behind the counter at a Circle K at 3805 Maizeland Rd. and tried to take cash from the register.
He has not been found by investigators, but surveillance cameras provided an image of the suspect. Anyone who has information is asked to call 719-444-7000.
