Fountain police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store shortly before 2 a.m. Friday.
Officers were called to the 7-Eleven at 601 S. Santa Fe Ave. after a person reported that a man with his face partially covered and carrying a handgun demanded money from the clerk. The man ran south from the store with an undisclosed amount of money before police arrived.
The robber is described as a black man about 5-feet tall with a thin build. Anyone with information that could help police with the investigation should call 382-8555.
