Murray Boulevard between Galley Road and Platte Avenue has reopened Tuesday morning after Colorado Springs police finished their investigation of a suspicious package on Murray.
Police say they found a package taped to a front door of the Colorado Springs Police Training Academy at 724 N. Murray Blvd. Tuesday morning. X-ray scans of the package determined it to be safe.
The investigation came on the heels of other suspicious device investigations Monday, including one in which a pipe bomb was found on the south side of downtown Colorado Springs and another in which two people were arrested on suspicion of making several chemical bottle bombs.
