Four Colorado Springs School District 11 elementary schools have earned state honors.

Both Chipeta Elementary and Scott Elementary earned the John Irwin award.

Edison Elementary School earned the Center of Excellence Award.

Schools and districts earn the honors from the Colorado Department of Education based on their performance in areas including academic achievement, academic growth, reducing academic growth gaps, and postsecondary and workforce readiness.
