Colorado Springs police were looking for a missing 74-year-old woman early Sunday who officers say may be suffering from dementia.

Family members told officers that Rosie Gonzalez, a 4-foot-11 Hispanic woman, was last seen at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday near the Albertson’s store at Austin Bluffs Parkway and Dublin Boulevard. She was last seen wearing a white blouse, black pants and a purple scarf.

Police say Gonzalez has gone missing three times before, twice turning up on the city’s east side and once winding up in Aurora.

“She does have diminished mental capacity, with possible undiagnosed dementia,” police said in a news release.

Officers didn’t have a photograph of Gonzalez to release early Sunday.
