Three men are in custody and a fourth is still at large and considered armed and dangerous after an alleged triple kidnapping late Monday night.

Colorado Springs police arrested Joshua Takacs, 29, Dustin Turner, 26, and Cory Garrett, 24 just after midnight near the 3600 block of Carefree Place in the eastern part of the city. Stephen Woolwine, 27, has not been found and a warrant for his arrest has been issued, police said.

Officers were called to Carefree Place after reports of a man with a gun who was chasing another man. Once at the scene police found a man who claimed he had been kidnapped and escaped.

The kidnapping victim told officers that two of his friends were also abducted. The pair was eventually found unharmed after police violent crimes detectives joined the investigation.

Takacs, Turner and Garrett were taken to the El Paso County jail on suspicion of kidnapping and are scheduled to be in court on Wednesday.
