GREELEY -- An exuberant Thanksgiving shopper in Greeley faces felony robbery charges for allegedly wrestling a laptop out of the hands of another shopper in a Walmart.

The Greeley Tribune reports that 22-year-old Amino Idris is accused of knocking down another shopper and taking a laptop computer she was carrying to the checkout. Idris is charged with felony robbery. The crime is defined as taking anything of value from another person while using force.

The incident happened late Thursday.

According to police, Idris took a laptop and handed it to a family member. Twenty-year-old Nichole Vanlandingham also took a laptop.

As Vanlandingham was headed toward checkout to pay for her laptop, Idris allegedly took it from her, knocking her down. Walmart security officials notified off-duty Greeley police officers of the scuffle.
