Police detained several people after gunfire early Saturday outside a northeastern Colorado Springs bar.

Just after midnight, officers were called to the parking lot of Rhino’s Sports and Spirits at 4307 Integrity Center Point, near Powers Boulevard and Barnes Road on reports of gunfire.

Police say the cuffed several people when they arrived and found shell casings and damage in the parking lot. Officers say two businesses were hit by bullets along with a car in the lot.

Police seized one pistol.

Officers say the incident started with a fight between two groups of men in the parking lot.

It could take hours, though, for police to figure out who did what. The investigation was continuing, but no arrests had been made, police said.
