A police standoff in south Colorado Springs ended peacefully early Saturday after several hours of negotiations.

According to Colorado Springs Police, officers were called to a home in the 2300 block of Jet Wing Drive at 8:45 p.m. for a report of a disturbance between a husband and wife. Police surrounded the house and when they called the woman, she said the man had guns in the house and wouldn't let her leave.

The woman was eventually able to leave the house, and the man gave himself up after midnight, police said. Jorge Estrada, 30, was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and harassment.

Police said officers found a rifle, shotgun, bullet-proof vest and "other weapons related items" in the home.
