The man found floating face-down in Fountain Creek Thursday morning has been identified as 69-year-old John Hamilton of Colorado Springs.

Hamilton was found about 8:15 a.m. near a mobile home park at 2840 S. Circle Drive. He was found clothed and there were no obvious signs of trauma to his body.

The cause of his death has not been determined, pending test results, by the El Paso County Coroner’s Office.
