WESTMINSTER — There are fresh sheets on the top bunkbed in her room and a nest of stuffed animals waiting for 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway to come home.

"Everything is up there how she likes it," said Jessica's mom, Sarah Ridgeway said Tuesday afternoon during a meeting with media at the Westminster Police Department. "We want her to be able to sleep in it again. Nice and warm and safe, where she is supposed to be."

Jessica has been missing since 8:30 a.m. Friday, when she left her Westminster home to meet friends to walk to school. Police, state, federal and volunteer investigators have been searching the area around her home and in Superior, where her backpack was found, since she disappeared.

Jessica's father, Jeremiah Bryant, had one thing on his mind: "I just want to find my daughter and bring her back home," he said.
