Allegiant Air has suspended flights between Colorado Springs and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport on a seasonal basis and is re-evaluating when it plans to resume the service, said Carl Zablotny, a spokesman for the Las Vegas-based carrier that specializes in offering travel packages that also include hotel stays, rental cars and entertainment. Allegiant still operates flights on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays between the Springs and Las Vegas.

The carrier ended service to Pueblo in April and announced plans last month to end service to Fort Collins.
