The White House announced Monday morning that President Barack Obama will visit Colorado Springs on May 23, to deliver the commencement address to the 2012 class of the Air Force Academy.

White House Spokesman Adam Abrams said in a statement:

“Every year, the President enjoys speaking to members of our military at one of the four service academies to not only congratulate the graduates on their accomplishments but also thank them for their service to the country.  This year, the President looks forward to addressing cadets at the Air Force Academy.”
