One person died Tuesday morning when a vehicle he was in rolled over at Fort Carson's Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site.
The man, a civilian, was one of two people in the vehicle when it crashed, said Randy Tisor, a Fort Carson spokesman. The person's name was not released, pending notification of next of kin.
The other person involved in the rollover wreck suffered serious injuries.
The crash is under investigation, Tisor said. Details about the wreck, as well as what the vehicle was doing when it crashed, have not been released.
Tisor said he wasn't sure whether any training was being conducted at the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site at the time of the crash, and he declined to discuss the topic further until Wednesday morning.
