Fort Carson is planning a homecoming ceremony for another group of soldiers returning from Afghanistan.

About 250 soldiers are expected home Wednesday morning. They were originally expected Tuesday night, but schedules for returning troops frequently change.

The soldiers are part of the 4th Infantry Division's 1st Brigade Combat Team. They're wrapping up a 12-month deployment in southern Afghanistan.

Brigades have about 3,800 members. It usually takes weeks or months for an entire brigade to return.
