Five Colorado high school students will receive full scholarships to a program focused on the U.S. Constitution thanks to the Daniels Fund.

Application and scholarship information can be found online at www.ConstAcademy.org/applynow. The deadline is April 15.

The Constitutional Academy at The Bill of Rights Institute is a five-week distance learning program that culminates in a week-long summer residential program in Washington, D.C.

At the academy, students read and study works written by and about the leading minds of the America's founding era. They will discuss the ideals of the country's foundation along with contemporary issues in weekly online discussions with students from across the country and university scholars.

During the educational week in Washington, D.C. students will work with historical documents at the National Archives and visit landmarks including George Washington’s Mount Vernon and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.
