ERA Shields Real Estate's support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association continues to grow.

The company's seventh annual "The Arts" Downtown MDA Art Show on Sept. 20 was moved to Pikes Peak Center and expanded this year to include a banquet.

The more than 300 attendees raised in excess of $45,000 for MDA, which offers care and support for those with neuromuscular diseases and raises funds for research. Money raised at the show will also help send local kids to next summer's MDA camp.

A highlight was speed painter Tim Decker, who created three original paintings in less than five minutes each. He donated the paintings to be auctioned off to members of the audience.

Chair of the benefit was Eric Estrada, who thanked other sponsors, including ERA Mortgage, American Home Shield, Colorado Mountain Brewery, Unified Title Company, V.I.P Mortgage Inc. and ANB Bank.
