Arapahoe High School students allowed back into building

CENTENNIAL — Students from Arapahoe High School were allowed back into the building Thursday for the first time since last week's shooting.

Juniors and seniors are being allowed to retrieve belongings left behind when the school was evacuated.

About 12:30 p.m. Dec. 13, law enforcement officials say Karl Pierson, 18, came to school armed with a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun, three Molotov cocktails and a machete concealed in a canvas scabbard.
