MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Manhattan Regional Airport will offer travelers a new destination this fall when low-cost carrier Allegiant begins flights to Phoenix.
The northeast Kansas airport was one of 10 around the country added by the Las Vegas-based airline on Tuesday, bringing its total to 99.
Allegiant will operate two nonstop flights each week between Manhattan and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport beginning Nov. 7.
The airline also announced a promotional, introductory roundtrip fare of $99 — but only through Thursday — for travel by next April 29. Allegiant says the special fare won't be available on all flights, and seats are limited.
