Alison Krauss, David Gray teaming up for Colorado Springs, Red Rocks tour stops

Alison Krauss and David Gray will perform in Colorado Springs this fall as part of a new tour.

They will be at Pikes Peak Center on Oct. 13. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday at axs.com. Krauss and Gray will also play Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Oct. 12.

Kraus, whose latest album, "Windy City," topped bluegrass charts, is the most-awarded female artist in Grammy history with 27 wins.

She's famous for her classic country and bluegrass style, selling more than 12 million records and releasing 14 albums.

Gray is an artist known internationally for multi-platinum sales over the course of his 25-year career.

The duo will be headlining in 21 cities, starting on Sept. 8 in Hershey, Pa., and culminating Oct. 19 in Berkeley, Calif.
