A Colorado Springs teenager died Sunday morning after a rollover crash.

Colorado Springs police said the wreck, just east of South Academy Boulevard near Chapman Drive and Academy Park Loop, was reported at 6:50 a.m. Sunday. A 17-year-old male was the only occupant of the vehicle, which was northbound on Chapman Drive when it left the road and rolled at least once.

The driver was transported to a local hospital, where he died, police said. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.

No other vehicles were involved and no one else was injured.
