HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Alabama's space museum is offering free admission as part of a nationwide event.
The U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville won't charge for admission on Saturday to mark Smithsonian magazine's ninth annual "Museum Day Live!"
Visitors will be able to get in for free to see exhibits including the Apollo 16 moon capsule and a Saturn V rocket, which are both on display at the state-owned museum near NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.
Tickets are available for download from the Smithsonian website. Each household can get one ticket that will admit two people to the Space and Rocket Center.
