Air Force men's basketball will encounter just one foe from a major conference and will play no nonconference teams that finished last year in the RPI’s top 100.

This was revealed as the Falcons released their full 2017-18 basketball schedule on Thursday.

The schedule, as expected, includes a trip to Colorado on Nov. 26, a meeting at Madison Square Garden against Army on Dec. 17 and a trip to Indiana State on Nov. 29 as part of the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge.

The Buffaloes, who finished last year No. 101 in the NCAA’s RPI rankings, are joined only by Canisius (168) and Texas State (172) as teams among the top 200.

Air Force, which finished 12-21 last year and was rated No. 249, will see five top-100 teams once Mountain West play opens in late December – Nevada (35), Colorado State (69), Boise State (70), Fresno State (77) and New Mexico (87).

Here’s are Air Force’s Division 1 nonconference foes, listed with their final RPI ranking from last year and their conference.

Colorado (101), Pac-12 – away, Nov. 26

Canisius (168), Metro Atlantic – home, Nov. 14

Texas State (172), Sun Belt – home, Nov. 12

Denver (209), Summit League – away, Dec. 2

Abilene Christian (284), Southland – home, Dec. 6

UC Riverside (330), Big West – away, Dec. 8

Arkansas-Pine Bluff (345), Southwestern – home, Nov. 20
