Air Force moved up two spots in the latest U.S. College Hockey Online poll to No. 17 for the Atlantic Hockey Conference program’s highest ranking in almost five years.

The Falcons (21-8-5, 18-5-3 AHC) were ranked at No. 16 in the final 2011-12 poll in April 2012. Earlier this season, AFA reached No. 18 in early October after winning the Icebreaker tournament title.

It is the third-straight week the Falcons are ranked, going from No. 20 two weeks ago to 19th last Monday. The USCHO rankings are used by The Associated Press and The Gazette.
