Air Force Academy's football team is scheduled to visit The White House and President Donald Trump on Tuesday to celebrate winning The Commander-in-Chief's Trophy, an academy spokesman confirmed.
The Commander-in-Chief's Trophy recognizes the winner of the annual service-academy football rivalry. Air Force defeated Army and Navy this season to win the trophy.
Air Force has won the trophy 20 times. Navy has won 15 times, and Army has six titles. Navy won the trophy seven straight times from 2003-09, but Air Force has rallied to win four of the last seven and two of the past three.
The Falcons, who finished 10-3 this season, will fly to Washington D.C. on Monday and attend The White House ceremony on Tuesday.
