A two-car crash on Interstate 25 near Uintah Street has closed two lanes of northbound traffic, Colorado Springs police said.

Drivers are advised to take an alternative route.

One car was on its side and two lanes were closed while police moved tow trucks in to clear out the accident.

One person involved in the crash may have suffered a broken arm, police said.

Lanes were reopened just after 5 p.m. but significant delays were occurring, police said.
