A Cheyenne Mountain High School teacher arrested on suspicion of sexual assault allegedly exchanged sexual texts with a student and kissed her, court documents said.
Math teacher Mark Alan Moore, 31, was arrested last week after a school therapist told police that she was concerned for the welfare of the student after she was told that the two were having an inappropriate relationship.
In an initial interview with police, the sophomore student told investigators that she was close to her math teacher, and that she would go to him for help with work during study hall.
She denied having contact with him outside of school, according to court documents.
In a second interview, however, she told investigators that she and Moore had exchanged texts about kissing and covering other "bases," court documents said. Moore also allegedly told her that he would "set something up."
In an interview with police, Moore said that during a lengthy text conversation, the student told him she was "good with her mouth" and he told her that he was "good with his tongue" and would return the favor, court documents stated.
According to court documents, Moore also told police that he had kissed the student on the cheek on Feb. 3 or 4. In a another interview, admitted to kissing the student on the mouth and also touching her bottom in the school near his office.
Moore, who also coaches football and basketball at the high school, had been the student's math teacher for two years, according to court documents.
