The Flying W Wranglers find a home
After all of the Wranglers' summer shows were canceled, Texas T-Bone has given the beloved local group a home for the season. The Flying W Wranglers Trail Dust BBQ and Show plays the restaurant, at 4659 Centennial Blvd., at 7 p.m. Sundays and Tuesdays. Details: 260-2372.

Boot camp on disaster preparedness
The Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region will offer a boot camp on disaster preparedness, planning and response.

Colorado artifacts at Crime Museum
Several Colorado artifacts are on display at the Crime Museum in Washington, D.C., including an 1887 Hanged Man Cabinet photograph by R.M. Davis, and an "Oregon Boot," a prisoner restraint used by the Denver Sheriff's Department after it was invented in 1866; crimemuseum.org.
