Abandoned lioness bonds with men who saved her life

Difficult to believe the trust between a 110-pound lioness and two European men who rescued her in the African bush.

As a cub, Sirga was driven out of her pride and rescued by Valentin Gruener and Mikkel Legarth who could not stand by and watch her die.

The lioness has developed a very strong bond with the pair who are fighting to save her species in Botswana, southern Africa.
