Sunny skies and warmer weather are in Colorado Springs' forecast through the weekend.

The National Weather Service in Pueblo predicted highs of 47 degrees Thursday, 61 degrees Friday and 59 degrees Saturday.

On average, highs are 54 degrees Nov. 9 and 10 and 53 degrees Nov. 11, weather service data show.

Clouds are expected to "linger into Thursday morning," Gazette news partner KKTV reported. "We will brighten up through the afternoon, ending up in the 40s and 50s for the day."

"The warm and dry trend continues through the first half of the weekend, with highs in the 50s and 60s by Saturday. We cool down slightly for the second half of the weekend, in the 40s and 50s but still a pleasant day."
