A 63-year-old man has been convicted of all counts in a child sex assault case that involved thousands of child porn images and a document outlining a plan to sexually exploit and manipulate his victim, El Paso County Sheriff's deputies said.

Ronald Stanley was found guilty on Monday of sex assault on a child by one in a position of trust, enticement of a child, multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of obscenity, the sheriff's office said in a release.

The case against Stanley was opened in December 2009, when a 10-year-old girl accused him of inappropriate sexual contact, El Paso County Sheriff's deputies said.

In February 2010, detectives searched his home and seized several computers. One computer contained thousands of child porn images, according to the sheriff's office.

The images were part of an 800-page document that outlined how Stanley planned to entice his victim into engaging in sexual acts with him, investigators said.

The document contained pictures of Stanley exposing himself, along with pictures of the victim that were altered to make it look as though she was engaging in sexual activities.

He was arrested on Feb. 11, 2010.

Sheriff's deputies said Stanley missed a court appearance in February 2011 and disappeared until August 2013, when an anonymous tip led authorities to a trailer park in Spokane, Wash., where he was hiding.

Stanley faces eight years to life in prison, the sheriff's office said.

His sentencing hearing is set for June 25.
