The Gary Sinise Foundation, in partnership with Josh Cellars Wine, will present a $60,000 donation Tuesday to the Black Forest Fire Rescue to purchase a specialized fire mitigation truck in honor of National First Responders Appreciation Day.

The presentation will take place at Black Forest fire headquarters on 11445 Teachout Road at 10:30 a.m.

Josh Cellars, which was founded in honor of the winemaker’s father, a volunteer firefighter, donated up to $50,000 to the Gary Sinise Foundation in a partnership to support the nation’s first responders.

Earlier in 2013, the foundation presented a check to the Pikes Peak Firefighters Association.

Sinise is an acclaimed actor who starred along Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump and most recently in CSI: NY.
