What is the single most important action Congress can take to reduce gun violence?

Congress must refocus the debate on the root cause behind violent acts being committed with guns and avoid the pressure of adopting emotionally based gun control legislation. Congress must also fight against a one-size-fits-all legislative solution to "gun violence" that actually infringes upon our individual rights under the 2nd Amendment. What are the top three needs specific to the 5th Congressional District that you will make your priorities in Congress?

- Establish the 5th Congressional District as the prototype for an effective and economically prosperous national defense center for warfighting capability, military technology, innovation, operational readiness & veteran services. The district is uniquely positioned to set the standard with our highly skilled workforce, defense and technology industries and community support for active duty military, veterans and their families.

- Continue to identify and tackle individual/business tax policies and regulatory barriers to job growth, creativity and financial freedom.

- Finish the job: Rally the necessary Congressional support to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

What do you bring to this race that none of your opponents can offer?

- The ability to apply 21+ years of hands-on military acquisition and logistics experience to immediately address our declining warfighting readiness capability.

- I have unmatched fire and passion to elevate the profile of the 5th Congressional District, and I have the unique ability to resonate as a national leader in the defense of freedom and liberty, unifying the people of this country.
