Press release/The Gazette - Updated: January 7, 2014 at 11:27 am

Dream Maker Films, a Colorado-based production company, is now in pre-production for the new Sci-Fi movie, "The Energy".

Filming locations are all across the US including the streets and skyscrapers of downtown Denver.

This is a great opportunity for a lot of aspiring actors, artists, and crew in Colorado to get experience and to be a part of something really big. Dream Maker Films is currently seeking 5000 extras for a scene in the beginning of the film where thousands of people in Denver and Boulder are drawn outside to see something that's visible in the sky. A few shots will also be inside a penthouse office off of 17th and Welton in Denver.

Details about the film are being kept secret, but Terry Spar, project manager of the film said, "We're currently in early stages of pre-production and are hoping to start filming in the summer of 2014. We can't film without the extras, so it's urgent for us to get the word out now."

The Energy Synopsis:

In our world there's a positive and negative balance. Few become drawn to the very ends of a single side. Those exceptional few develop unimaginable powers called, The Energy. Whether they know it now or not, they will have the power to destroy our world or save it, and both sides will try.
