Although no area teams made it through Friday, the Pikes Peak region will be well represented in the volleyball playoffs, as five teams punched their ticket to the state tournament through regional tournament wins Saturday.

Coronado is the area’s lone 5A qualifier, while Lewis-Palmer, Palmer Ridge, Discovery Canyon and Cheyenne Mountain will all battle in the 4A bracket.

Official state brackets will be released Monday.
