CHICAGO (AP) — Three of Chicago's top tourist destinations will be closed Tuesday due to frigid weather.

The Field Museum, the Shedd Aquarium and the Adler Planetarium all will be closed on Tuesday. The National Weather Service in northern Illinois has predicted temperatures overnight Monday into Tuesday to drop as low as 23 degrees below zero.

Shedd Aquarium and the Adler Planetarium officials say the facilities plan to reopen Wednesday. Adler Planetarium officials say they'll reschedule Tuesday's previously designated Illinois Resident Discount Day.
