Eastbound traffic on a nearly three-mile stretch of Austin Bluffs Parkway between Meadow Lane and Mallow Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release from city traffic officials.

The closure will allow crews to complete a traffic pattern switch so they can work on the south side of the road.

Adverse weather, however, such as the snowstorm hitting Friday night and Saturday, could delay the switch until Sunday.
