Two people were robbed Friday night at a drive-through ATM, Colorado Springs police reported.
Police said two people were using the ENT Federal Credit Union ATM at 3125 Jet Wing Dr. when two men approached their car from the shadows on the west side of the building.
The suspects had their faces covered. One suspect showed a gun to the driver and demanded money, which was handed over, police said. The other suspect went to the passenger and demanded cell phones.
Police said one of the suspects then hit one of the victims in the head with the gun, and the other victim was hit in the neck. The two suspects fled east when another vehicle approached.
The victims contacted police just before 10 p.m. from a private home after the incident. Police called out a K-9 unit although a significant amount of time had passed between when the robbery occurred and when it was reported. The K-9 unit did not find anything.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 444-7000.
