2 males arrested in 22 aggravated and attempted robberies in Colorado Springs

A 17-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man were arrested Friday in 22 aggravated robberies and attempted robberies over less than a month in the Colorado Springs area, police announced Monday.

The teen and his alleged accomplice, Ian Hansen, are accused of robbing or trying to rob 22 businesses and people since late November, police said.

Seventeen of the robberies happened in Colorado Springs, and five in El Paso County.

"The suspects terrorized the victims, pointing guns at them and demanding money," police said in a news release.

While executing search warrants, detectives reportedly found victims' personal items, eight guns, cash and drugs including pills, marijuana, methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine.

Police listed these robberies and attempted robberies in the city:

- Nov. 24: GameStop, 7481 N. Academy Blvd.

- Nov. 26: Circle K, 120 S. Rockrimmon Blvd.

- Nov. 26: 7-11, 6495 Issaquah Drive

- Nov. 26: Diamond Shamrock, 4825 Galley Road

- Nov. 26: Babe's Espresso, 2438 E Pikes Peak Ave.

- Nov. 30: Dress Barn, 3284 Cinema Point

- Nov. 30: Texas Roadhouse, 3120 N. Powers Blvd.

- Nov. 30: Domino's, 5168 N. Academy Blvd.

- Nov. 30: Two personal robberies in the 3300 block of North Chestnut Street

- Nov. 30: Papa John's, 621 N. Union Blvd.

- Dec. 4: Western Convenience Store, 2507 E. Platte Ave.

- Dec. 5: Staybridge Suites, 7130 Commerce Center Drive

- Dec. 6: Family Dollar, 3765 Verde Drive

- Dec. 8: Subway, 3434 N. Academy Blvd.

- Dec. 11: Great Wolf Lodge, 9494 Federal Drive

- Dec. 13: Family Dollar, 4440 Edison Ave.
