Five people were arrested Monday after a teenager told police that he was robbed at gunpoint at an apartment complex in northeast Colorado Springs.

The robbers allegedly stole the teen's backpack containing some cash and a laptop computer in the 4:20 p.m. robbery outside the Stetson Meadows Apartments in the 6200 block of Mustang Meadow Point, Colorado Springs police said. The victim gave police the license plate of the robbers' vehicle, helping officers track the car a short while later.

Officers recovered two .45 caliber firearms and ammunition, among other items taken as evidence of the robbery, police said.

Two adults, 19-year-old Timothy Clemens, and 18-year-old Regan Racer, were arrested in connection to the robbery, as well as three juveniles.

Anyone with information can call police at 444-7000.
